Teaching Focus: Sarah Hart’s teaching interests include special education teacher preparation, psychology, and disability studies coursework. She also supervises all levels of student research.
Professional Interests: Sarah Hart’s research focuses on the transition out of school into community life. Most recently, her inclusive research examined the exit from segregated special schools in New Zealand. Her interests are in international and lived perspectives of significant disability, capability theory of social justice, and emancipatory research.
