"My favorite thing about UHart is how easily accessible my professors, advisors, and even other faculty members are. While at other colleges it would take weeks to get to talk to the president of the university or the dean, at UHart I see them walking around campus nearly every day. This has created a sense of community that helps me to thrive not just as an activist, but also as a student." - Royston Lester '26 l Criminal Justice
"I think my college experience so far has been incredible in that I am so happy to be involved in so many different programs, organizations, and projects." - Millie Hamlin '25 l Visual Communication Design
The physical therapy program at UHart did a great job in finding me clinical settings that met my goals and desires. By the time I hit the clinic, I felt over-prepared to be successful in any clinical environment I was placed in—regardless of the situation.- Matt Glassoff '21 DPT'24
"I think having interactions in the Career Studio during panel sessions, alumni events, and activities gives us a networking opportunity that could lead to something greater, lie a job or internship." - Tyanna Stewart '24 l Health Sciences
The UHart story can't be told by numbers alone. We're too inquisitive, energetic, and fun for that.
But it's as good a place as any to start.
International Studies, Politics and Government, and minor in French, 2023
After learning about different cultures and broadening her knowledge and interest in foreign affairs, Benedicta chose to study abroad in Seoul, South Korea, at Yonsei University’s Underwood International College, where she took courses in diplomacy and international negotiations.
In addition to her academic life, Benedicta is involved in clubs and organizations. She is currently a member of the Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) 2023 cohort, the Newman Club, and serves as a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador and is a residential assistant.
UHart is a community, and that is my favorite part about it. Whether you are in clubs, organizations, or classes, it always feels like you are part of this big family because everyone is willing to help you succeed in and out of the classroom.
