Saleh Keshawarz, Professor of Civil Engineering, recently returned from a three-week trip to Central Asia, where he visited water resource facilities in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and met with local experts in water management. His trip was part of a sabbatical project focused on sustainable water resource use in Central Asia, addressing the challenges posed by rising water demand, waste, and reduced flow due to climate change.
