Beginning in Fall 2019 through the President’s Steering Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Welcome Wednesday was established to create community and foster connections by promoting socialization and learning at rotating locations on campus. Areas would “host” the community by inviting faculty, staff, and students to drop in, meet the department, and enjoy some conversation. Participating units included Hartford Hillel, International Center, Student Government Association (SGA), and Information Technology Services (ITS).
After a five-year hiatus, we’re back and we want you to participate! Are you interested in hosting the campus community this Spring? All you have to do is:

Offer light refreshments, materials, swag, handouts (if you choose)
