The Hartford Art School Dirty For A Reason Clay Club is thrilled to invite you to celebrate its Silver Anniversary: 25th Annual Holiday Ceramics Sale ,with a gala opening reception this Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Silpe Gallery.
Throw on your glad rags and join us for this event that is sure to be the bee’s knees! Founded in 1998 by Professor Matt Towers, this year's sale will feature the work of 37 ceramic artists, including students, faculty, and alumni/community friends. Shop through hundreds of unique, hand-made functional and sculptural ceramic objects to find heartfelt gifts for your people and yourself. Proceeds of this sale directly benefit the artists, and support student travel to the annual NCECA conference, as well as our visiting artist program.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the Hartford Art School Endowment Board for sponsoring our reception, Civic Design student Julia Cyr (taught by Mike Scricco) for the beautiful marketing materials, and HAS Gallery Director Carrie Cushman.
The exhibition/sale will run through Friday, Dec. 13, and the gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Cash, credit, Venmo ,and checks accepted. Follow us on Instagram at @hasceramics for more information, or email lanter@hartford.edu.
Hope to see you there!
