The Hartford Art School Ceramics Department and Dirty for A Reason Clay Club are excited to invite you to join us for an artist talk and demonstration by Eun-Ha Paek this Friday, Feb. 21, from 3 p.m.–6 p.m., in the Krieble Ceramics Center. Eun-Ha Paek will be discussing her use of digital design, clay 3-D printing, and background in animation. All welcome!
Eun-Ha Paek was born in Seoul, Korea. She received a BFA in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her animated films have screened in the Guggenheim Museum, Sundance Film Festival, and venues internationally. Grants and awards include the Center for Craft Teaching Artist Cohort Grant, Windgate Scholarship and Rudy Autio Grant from the Archie Bray Foundation, and a Travel and Study Grant from The Jerome Foundation. Her work has received mentions in The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Vogue Living and G4 Tech TV. Residencies include EKWC (Netherlands), Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park (Japan), Center for Contemporary Ceramics (California State Long Beach), Haystack Mountain School of Crafts (Maine) and Archie Bray Foundation (Montana). She teaches at Parsons School of Design and Greenwich House Pottery (NYC).
