Barney Hosts Junior Achievement Innovators Challenge

The Barney School of Business, in collaboration with the Barney Leadership Council (BLC), continued their partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) through last Friday’s Innovation Challenge hosted on campus. These high school students were challenged to identify a pressing issue in society and develop an innovative business product that leverages technology and AI to improve lives. They developed their idea, created a presentation, and pitched the idea to a panel of judges. The plans were then judged for the product/service itself, a market needs assessment, and a financial analysis.

The agenda of the day included remarks from Professor Chavon Campbell, sessions facilitated by BLC members, and working with JA to present the ideas. The winners were ultimately announced to the group as the day concluded.
