If you are in need of authentication of your diploma or transcript, there are two levels of authentication available:
- A statement typed on a photocopy certifying that it is a true copy of the diploma or transcript, signed by the registrar
- Signature of a notary public
There is no charge for either type of authentication. In both cases, the Office of the Registrar needs either your original diploma or transcript or a true copy of your diploma or transcript along with a written, signed request.
If you require an apostille from the State of Connecticut, please go to the secretary of the state’s website Authentication of Documents and the Apostille for instructions and charges.
