Your Promise Fuels Their Potential
Each year, at the University of Hartford, our students arrive with ambition and drive, eager to uncover their passion and realize their dreams. They leave with the knowledge, tools, and experience to improve the world around them.
For many of these students it isn’t their belief in what’s possible that holds them back, it’s overcoming the obstacles and challenges that stand in the way of pursuing a lifechanging education with us. Scholarships create access and opportunity for a new generation of Hawks, addressing the financial or circumstantial barriers that might prevent these students from bringing their talents to Hartford.
When you support student scholarships, your generosity fuels their potential!
Your Support Opens Doors
From business and technology, to science and medicine, to music and the arts, the power of a scholarship is universal. Your generous support empowers more students to pursue the big, bold ideas that will shape industry and impact communities around the world.
When you invest in tomorrow’s leaders and influencers, you are helping us transform the future.

Scholarships across the University reflect our diverse, vibrant community of learners and are central to our students’ ability to immerse themselves in everything UHart has to offer.
With your support, financial burdens are alleviated.
As a first-generation college student, nursing student Courtney Korner ’26 credits her scholarship with allowing her to attend her top choice school where she feels she “has the greatest chance of success without financial pressures affecting her decision.”
UHart fosters a diverse learning environment.
When looking for a school for her undergraduate degree, Akosua Adu ’25, wanted somewhere that put an emphasis on community.
“I love that I’m surrounded by people who look like me all the time. I love how people of color are represented in the student body as well as the staff. It goes to show the progress of our community.”
UHart’s Stanley Black & Decker Scholars, focusing on students underrepresented in business, including first-generation and BIPOC college students, like De’kyiah Morey ’24.
“This scholarship means many things to me, like having the financial burden lifted off my family’s shoulders. However, what it means is someone saw potential and believed in my capabilities…Being a first-generation is hard. Being awarded through such an intense scholarship process means I can get through anything if I want it.”
Scholarships attract ambitious students to our campus.
Taylor Depaolo-Daily '26 is studying digital media journalism with a focus on sports production. She was drawn to UHart by the people and opportunities that the school has to offer through its partnerships with ESPN and the Student Television Network.
“I thought that UHart is where I wanted to land, and winning this scholarship assured me that I had found a school that valued all of my accomplishments and wanted me to be a part of their campus as much as I wanted to be there.”
Kyla DeBenedetto ’25, Radiologic Technology majorThe opportunity to be able to attend such a prestigious institution of higher education, without the financial pressure, is something I am truly grateful for. I could not be more thankful to call the University of Hartford my home.
