CETA Recognizes Three Faculty for Teaching Excellence, Student Engagement, & Service to Students

On Wednesday, May 7, The College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture recognized faculty for Teaching Excellence, Student Engagement, and Service to Students. The recognition comes with a certificate and a $1,000 prize.

  • Category A, Teaching Excellence: This award honors educators who have demonstrated exceptional skill in fostering critical thinking and inspiring their students to reach new heights. Their tireless efforts inside and outside the classroom have shaped minds and transformed lives. The recipient of this award is Associate Dean Takafumi Asaki.

  • Category B, Student Engagement: This award celebrates professors who go above and beyond to create meaningful connections with their students, actively involving them in learning and nurturing their personal and intellectual growth. The recipient of this award is Professor Ivana Milanovic.

  • Category C, Service to Students (Program, Department, and the college): This award recognizes faculty members who dedicate their time and energy to supporting the students and our institution's broader goals and mission. Their contributions extend far beyond the confines of the classroom, enriching the educational community by helping students and shaping the future of our departments and college. The recipient of this award is Professor Song Wang.
