Hillyer College Associate Professor of Psychology and Human Services Noel Casiano will be honored at the 100 Men of Color Gala and Awards in September.
The event recognizes the contributions from men of color in business, education, entrepreneurship, entertainment, government, and public service for the impact they have made on the lives of people throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Western Massachusetts.
The organization provides financial support for programs that support the advancement of young men of color. A portion of the proceeds from the annual event will support scholarships for young men who graduate from high school and plan on attending college and male leadership and mentorship programs.
