Celebrating Pride at UHart

photo

In recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community, June is designated as Pride Month across the world. This month is dedicated to the recognition of the identities and contributions of people who are LGBTQIA+. Pride Month is traced back to the Stonewall Uprising in New York City on June 28, 1969—a tipping point that changed LGBTQ+ activism and the Gay Rights Liberation Movement in the United States. As we celebrate Pride, let us also reaffirm our continuing commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of their identity, feel they belong in our community.

As we celebrate Pride Month, both on and off campus, we invite you to engage in various programs organized throughout our community.
