The Hartt Community Division is offering a free dance movement class series this summer to all University of Hartford employees. The class series will be held on Wednesday afternoons, starting July 2 and ending on Aug. 13. Spots are limited, so advance registration is encouraged by emailing dancedesk@hartford.edu.
Classes are inclusive, and appropriate for anyone no matter their level of movement experience. Ola Tarnowski, Hartt Community Division’s Dance faculty member, will be the instructor. Classes will help participants improve their movement abilities and boost overall mood in a fun, upbeat environment. No experience needed.
Participants will be provided with a class schedule in advance of the start of the program so they know what style of dance the can expect for each class; examples include lyrical, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, Zumba, etc. Participants should wear moveable clothing such as athletic wear, along with either with dance shoes or socks.

When: Wednesdays from 4:45 p.m.–5:45 p.m., starting on July 2 and running through Aug. 13
