HAS Viewbook Receives Two Awards From CADC

photo

The redesigned Hartford Art School viewbook has received Silver and Judges Awards in the 2025 Connecticut Art Directors Club annual awards competition. This event recognizes excellence from the creative community across the state. The viewbook was created in partnership with the Office of Marketing and Communication and the Hartford Art School. Additionally, this special project was generously supported by matching funds from Hartford Art School Endowment, Inc.

With its vibrant cover, viewers gain glimpses of students’ work as a preview for their journey ahead. Creative design elements are interspersed with inviting text that draw the viewer in, allowing one to enter the world of HAS and all that it has to offer. The dynamic piece was a collaboration between OMC and HAS and the recent recognition by CADC allows this piece to have an additional spotlight.

In addition to accolades for the HAS viewbook, at the annual awards event, nearly two dozen members of the Hartford Art School community won awards for their creative contributions and projects.
