2026 MLK Observance

UHart will commemorate the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 12:45 p.m. in Lincoln Theater. The 2026 theme is “Strength to Love, Courage to Act.” The observance will include the presentation of the 2026 MLK Beloved Community Awards.

The UHart community gathered for the Fall 2025 Professional Development Day celebrating the theme of Voices, Visibility, and Values.
OIEB hosted a panel for Hispanic Heritage Month on mental health in the hispanic community. Those in attendance included faculty, staff, and students.
OIEB and students across campus represented UHart in the 2025 Puerto Rican Day Parade.
OIEB hosted a Nature Walk around campus.
For Indigenous People's Day, OIEB hosted the Indigenous Garden Unveiling Ceremony for the campus community to attend.
