MSOP students will:
Become proficient in using the scientific method to critically review social science behavioral research literature.
Successfully integrate theory and practice as applied to organizational science in the workplace through understanding organizational psychology research and its practical application in the workplace.
Accumulate a breadth of knowledge from a different content area in organizational science.
Know and understand the scope and methods of organizational psychology research, demonstrating the ability to formulate thoughtful questions and understand how to collect and analyze data to address those questions.
Develop in-depth knowledge of at least one current topic in organizational psychology, including, but not limited to work motivation, emotional intelligence, diversity in the workplace, and creativity in organizations.
Students will produce writing that meets high-quality academic standards of presentation, organization, documentation, analysis, and substance.
