Prosthetics & Orthotics Students Provide Patient Care in Sri Lanka
UHart MSPO students took their skills to Sri Lanka, helping provide prosthetic care to 30 patients while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience that will shape their futures as clinicians.
Physical Therapy Students Provide Vital Balance and Memory Screenings for the Community
Led by event founder Christine Ross DPT, UHart physical therapy students connected with older adults in the community, providing free balance and memory screenings. About 20% of those screened were identified as having a cognitive concern that warranted follow-up with their primary care provider.
