Benjamin Weiner ‘25 is interning this summer in the Field Marketing Division of A.P. Keaton, a marketing firm in Great Neck, New York, that offers clients brand strategy and field, digital, and retail marketing. In the internship role, Benjamin is researching event spaces for client launch events, assisting with scaling brands, and helping to come up with innovative ways to market their clients' products.
Benjamin started his UHart journey in Hillyer College. He is pursuing a psychology major in the College of Arts and Sciences and a marketing minor in the Barney School of Business. He says he decided to attend Hillyer for the first two years of his bachelor’s degree because he wanted smaller class sizes that would allow him to make connections with his professors.
“I thoroughly enjoyed Introduction to Business with Dr. Linda Moran,” he says. “In that course I learned how to structure a business plan and I improved my oral presentation skills by completing many projects that I had to present to the class.” He says he also benefited from the helpful feedback he received at the Hillyer’s dedicated Writing Center which is staffed by faculty.
Benjamin is a member of the Hillel student organization and served as rush chairman and fundraising chairman for his fraternity AEPI. He advises incoming Hillyer students to join different clubs and organizations so they can meet people and keep a good balance between academics and social activities.
“My favorite thing about UHart is the friends I have made there,” he says. “I’m looking forward to two more years of amazing experiences before I graduate.”
