Dan Horowitz, Program Director of CETA’s Master of Architecture program, will be giving a lecture at the annual meeting of Association of Institutions for Teaching Architecture in Mexico (ASINEA) on Sept. 11.
This is the sibling organization to Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA). Although the event is being held at the University of Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico, those interested can attend virtually to watch Horowitz’s lecture.
The subject of the meeting is "Inclusive Spaces" and Professor Horowitz will be talking about his non-profit, the “Architecture Is Free Foundation.” Horowitz explains that his foundation provides free educational content including mentoring, studios, lectures, and grants to a global audience of students and young professionals, operating on and accessed through social media. The foundation includes about 150 instructors and 3,500 students from around the world.
