Curious alumni, students and the greater Hartford community can register for Presidents’ College programs. University faculty and distinguished guest lecturers teach 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-session, non-credit courses. No membership required for this College: fees are charged per course.
Wednesday, Sept. 18, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. is the fall semester kickoff event at at the Silpe Gallery, Hartford Art School. Enjoy wine, munchies and jazz. Meet other “lifers," the new UHart president Lawrence Ward, and hear from a selection of faculty about the fall courses and lectures. Choices include Impressionist Art; A. I. and the Future of Medicine; Supersonic Flight; Great Women in Jazz; and a Supreme Court round-up. Or register for on-campus lectures about the Hartford Stage production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and then attend a performance.
