The University of Hartford’s Rogow Distinguished Visiting Lecturer Program, in collaboration with the Office for Inclusive Excellence and Belonging, presents “Preserving Democracy,” on Thursday, October 24, at 5:30 p.m. in Wilde Auditorium.
Guest Speaker Ruth Ben-Ghiat is an American historian. A professor of History and Italian Studies at New York University, she has received Guggenheim and Fulbright fellowships and serves as an advisor to Protect Democracy, a nonpartisan, a cross-ideological nonprofit group. She is a regular contributor to CNN, MSNBC, and other media outlets.
The Rogow Distinguished Visiting Lecturer Series works to bring celebrated authors, journalists, historians, academics, and artists to the Greater Hartford area.
