CETA Welcomes Back Alumna Kristina Vieten '85

On Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and SWE (Society of Women Engineers) student branches proudly welcomed Kristina Vieten ’85, a distinguished aerospace leader, for an inspiring presentation and meaningful conversations with students and faculty.

Kristina, a UHart alumna with a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS from Syracuse University, has dedicated decades to driving innovation at BAE Systems. In addition to her remarkable technical achievements, she is a passionate advocate for STEM education and a mentor to aspiring engineers.

During her visit, Kristina shared her journey from UHart student to aerospace leader, offering invaluable advice and engaging in meaningful discussions with students.
