Paul Slaboch and Amy Weiss to Speak On "The Origins of Space"

What are the origins of space? How was the world created? These lofty questions are often answered with either religious or scientific explanations, but rarely are those two perspectives put into dialogue with one another. This dynamic roundtable discussion attempts to offer potential answers to these questions by providing multiple viewpoints. Participants include Xandy Frisch, Assistant Professor of Judaic Studies at George Mason University; David D. Grafton, Professor of Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace; and Paul Slaboch, Associate Professor and Chair of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Acoustical Engineering at the University of Hartford. This panel will be moderated by Amy Weiss, Assistant Professor of Judaic Studies and History, and director of the Greenberg Center at the University of Hartford.

Join us for this Zoom event on Monday, Nov. 18, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
