Last semester graduate students from the University of Hartford’s Department of Architecture had the unique opportunity to present their final projects at JCJ Architecture in Hartford. This event was part of Design Studio III, led by Assistant Professor Mehdi Danesh, and aimed to bridge academic learning with professional practice.
By hosting the final review at JCJ Architecture, students experienced an immersive professional setting while receiving insightful critiques from JCJ’s architects and designers. The discussion focused on sustainability, building systems, and structure—key aspects emphasized in the studio.
The event provided invaluable exposure to the professional design environment, offering students a chance to engage with practicing architects, refine their presentations, and gain real-world feedback on their work.
Special thanks to JCJ Architecture for their generosity in providing space and time to support the next generation of architects.
