We’re excited to announce a new initiative to celebrate our people and strengthen our campus culture:
Bring Your Child to Work Day at the University of Hartford!
Open to all faculty and staff families, this special day is designed to:
- Give children a glimpse into the working world
- Foster early mentorship and career curiosity
- Build connections across our community
- Support work-life integration and family-friendly values
Whether you bring your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or godchild, this is a chance to share a meaningful part of your life with your UHart colleagues—and to show the next generation what makes our campus so special.
Activities will be geared toward children ages 5-15, with options to participate in scheduled programming or shadow you throughout the day. All children must be accompanied by their guardian (host) at all times.
This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive excellence, belonging, and employee appreciation, and was created in response to your feedback requesting more family-friendly programming.
