Strategic Action Planning: Three Opportunities to Contribute

Through thoughtful and inclusive strategic action planning this fall and spring, President Ward has encouraged our community to push forward in embracing new thinking and possibilities for the future. Building from the foundations of UHart Start and our Critical Few Objectives, we are documenting a forward-looking, data-informed, and actionable strategic roadmap that will lead the way for mission-driven goal setting and transparent measurement. This will include a comprehensive fundraising campaign of significance.

Please join us in November for three interactive brainstorming sessions, led by Jessica Nicklin, professor of psychology and associate provost for faculty affairs and research and Amy Barzach, executive director of the Women’s Advancement Initiative.

  • Nov. 5 from 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.: Student Experience; GSU 3rd Floor Classroom
  • Nov. 12 from 12:45 p.m.–2 p.m.: Academic Innovation; Auerbach 238 (Barney Classroom Main Floor) Please note: This session is offered as a part of November's professional development programming. Registration required.
  • Nov. 18 from 1 p.m.–2 p.m.: Organizational Culture; KF Room in the Library

Our ultimate goal is an action plan that reflects a compelling vision for our future as a thriving, student-centered, regionally engaged institution, aligned with our institutional values and identity, and responsive to opportunities and challenges.

As a reminder, a brief survey will be available until Oct. 31. Responses are anonymous. Thank you in advance for your engagement and contributions!
