The Barney School of Business is proud to congratulate Dr. Carmen Cotei on her appointment as the Ally Bridge Dean of the School of Business at Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY), effective Jan. 1, 2026. We look forward to cheering her on in this exciting next chapter!
Dr. Cotei has been a dedicated member of the Barney School of Business since 2004. As Associate Dean for Administration and Accreditation, she has guided AACSB continuous improvement efforts, strategic planning, faculty development, and financial operations. Her leadership has advanced curriculum innovation and supported major strategic initiatives across the school.
Throughout her tenure, she has served as Interim Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chair, and Program Director, and she played a central role in launching the MBA-STEM program, the FinTech undergraduate program, and other forward-looking academic offerings.
Dr. Cotei has made a profound and lasting impact on the Barney School. We congratulate her on this remarkable achievement and wish her every success as she begins her new role at Queens College.
