We are excited to announce that the Harrison Libraries will implement a new search platform, called Primo, in January 2026. Primo will allow you to discover almost everything the library offers books, articles, eBooks, videos, dissertations, and more—all in one search! Please see this guide for more information, including examples from other universities.
The go-live date for the new Primo platform is Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026. Throughout the spring semester, we will be assessing and improving its functionality, so please watch for those refinements.
We welcome your feedback! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please email the Harrison Libraries Director Alicia Hansen at alhansen@hartford.edu or Systems Librarian Ben Ide at bide@hartford.edu.
Important note: The Harrison Libraries' legacy catalog will still be available until the end of June 2026. A link on the library homepage will provide access to the legacy platform during this beta timeframe. Individual research databases will also remain accessible via a separate A-Z list.
