REVISED: Due to weather, the University will open today at 1:30 p.m. Classes will begin at 2 p.m.. All classes starting at or after 2 p.m. will meet as scheduled. Classes of 90 minutes or less starting before 2 p.m. will not meet in person. Classes longer than 90 minutes that usually start at 2 p.m. will meet at 2 p.m. if 50 or more percent of the scheduled class time remains. WHAT IT ALL MEANS. Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and will meet as scheduled. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, professors may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. New Physical Therapy Sponsorship Expands Career Pathways for Students

Offered through the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions, the DPT program is teaming up with Select Physical Therapy, a branch of Select Medical–one of the largest operators of critical illness recovery hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, and outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the country.

Beginning in spring 2026, Select Medical is offering sponsorships to 5 second- and third-year DPT students—totaling $15,000—to help cover tuition expenses. Those students will be offered employment by Select Medical Group when they graduate.
