This Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. Professor Mehmet Dede from the Hartt School will share his experiences leading an off-campus studies course, "Discover Music City: Nashville," via Zoom for the Music & Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA) Meets Free Webinar.
Professor Dede will cover course design, student outcomes and impacts, logistics, and more in a presentation titled: "Unpacking Nashville- Discovering a Music City Through Experiential Learning." Moderating the conversation will be Scott Legere (Augsburg University) who has led similar student excursions in Austin, Anaheim, and Las Vegas.
This should be a valuable conversation for any faculty member thinking about the incredible rewards (and occasional risks) that can come from off-campus programming.
