Helping Hawks Day of Service is a proud University of Hartford tradition rooted in our value of being Committed to Community. Since 2010, students, faculty, and staff have come together for a day of service across the Hartford area and the impact has grown every year.

What to Expect:

Continental breakfast & Helping Hawks t-shirt provided

University-provided transportation (required)

Service projects throughout the Hartford community both on and off campus
Day-of Schedule:

Check-In: 8:45 a.m.–9 a.m. (Konover)

Buses Depart: 9:30 a.m. (F Lot)

Service Sites: 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Pick-Up: 1 p.m.–1:20 p.m.

Free Lunch: 1:30 p.m. in Konover Campus Center
Bringing a Group or Department?
Interested in selecting your own service site for a group of students or your department? Complete the group site request form by Friday, Feb. 20. Our office will coordinate directly with the site; transportation, food, and t-shirts are still included.
