Printed W2s will be brought over to Mail Services by Jan. 30 and will be mailed to your Payroll Address on file. Printed W2s are being sent to the employees that have not elected to have Electronic Consent.
Electronic W2s are available now in Self-Service.
For any hourly employee who may have worked overtime in 2025, Payroll cannot provide guidance on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act provision for tax relief on overtime pay signed into law last year. Employees may use their last calendar year paystub for 2025 to reference any cumulative overtime pay for 2025 if trying to claim this deduction. Only a professional tax advisor can assist in calculating for this deduction.
You may choose to access your Form W2 electronically by electing Electronic W2 Consent in Employee Self-Service. If you have already elected electronic consent, please skip to the next section. To elect electronic consent, please log on to the Self-Service site on UHart's website (click My UHart and then Self-Service).
Then click on the Taxes dropdown bar, then click on W2 Electronic Regulatory Consent. Please read and follow the instructions as listed on the page. If you chose electronic consent, you will not receive a printed W2 going forward. You can turn this feature on and off as needed. The system has either generated an electronic-only copy or a physical-only copy depending on the choice indicated when W2's were formally processed in January.
After you elect Electronic Consent, you will go into Self-Service, click on the Taxes dropdown, click on W2 Wage and Tax Statement. Select the tax year from the menu and click Display. You will then select “Printable W2”, at the bottom of the page to bring up a viewable and printable version of your W2.
