REVISED: Due to weather, the University will open today at 1:30 p.m. Classes will begin at 2 p.m.. All classes starting at or after 2 p.m. will meet as scheduled. Classes of 90 minutes or less starting before 2 p.m. will not meet in person. Classes longer than 90 minutes that usually start at 2 p.m. will meet at 2 p.m. if 50 or more percent of the scheduled class time remains. WHAT IT ALL MEANS. Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and will meet as scheduled. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, professors may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. Graduate Research & Creativity Symposium

We are excited to welcome applications for submissions to present at the University's annual Graduate Research and Creativity Symposium. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 from 5 p.m.–7 p.m., in the 1877 Club.

The purpose of this symposium is to showcase the wide variety of original scholarships. (e.g. research projects, case studies, artistic performances/exhibits) conducted by graduate students at the University of Hartford.

Student presentations: Presentations must be in the form of posters or other materials that can be displayed on tables or in the form of short performances, as appropriate. Your audience will include fellow students, faculty, deans and other administrators, and members of the Board of Regents.

Artistic performances/exhibits: Students may submit a still of artwork to be shared, a pre-recorded performance, or share a live performance.

The deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 6. Applications are attached here.
