Anatomy Club Spring Seminar

The Anatomy Club is excited to host a special seminar featuring Associate Professor and Co-Chair of the Biology Department Paola Sacchetti.

Professor Sacchetti will present a talk titled “Follow Your Synapses: How Career Choices Shape a Scientific Life.” The seminar will take place on Friday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m. in Dana Hall 232.

This seminar will provide both a personal and professional perspective on the field of neuroscience, including insights into research on Alzheimer’s disease and the journey of building a career as a neuroscientist. Professor Sacchetti will discuss how scientific interests evolve over time, how career decisions shape research paths, and what it means to work in neuroscience today.

Attendees will gain insight into the realities of academic science, the study of neurodegenerative disease, and the diverse opportunities available to students interested in neuroscience and biomedical research.

This event is ideal for students interested in neuroscience, health sciences, clinical careers, or those considering a baccalaureate pivot into a high-demand specialty. All are welcome! No prior experience required. See the flyer or event webpage for additional details.
