Educational Resources Supporting Respectful Campus Dialogue

The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging and the Office of Equity and Opportunity are committed to fostering a campus environment grounded in dignity, respect, and belonging for all members of our community.

At times, events occurring beyond campus can affect members of our community in different ways. During these moments, universities play an important role in supporting learning, respectful dialogue, and an environment where all individuals feel safe and valued.

To support these goals, we are sharing several educational resources focused on understanding bias, supporting colleagues and peers, and promoting an inclusive campus environment. These materials highlight topics such as antisemitism, Islamophobia, anti-Arab bias, and other forms of discrimination that may affect members of our academic community. While these resources are not exhaustive, and are context specific, they are intended to support ongoing learning and awareness. We hope that the insights gained through these materials will encourage broader understanding and respect for the many identities and experiences represented within our campus community.

The resources below are shared as optional learning opportunities to expand our understanding of these topics.
