About the Role:
Summer Resident Assistants (SuRAs) are part of the Office of Residential Life (ORL) summer team. SuRAs provide a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to interacting with residents/guests/interns/groups, facilitating community meetings, mediating conflicts, facilitating activities and programs, completing administrative tasks, and responding to summer resident/guest/intern/group needs. In addition, SuRAs assist the ORL with summer projects and serve as a member of the summer student leader duty/on call team.
- SuRAs position requires an average of 20 hours per;
- Work hours may vary week-to-week, and will include evenings and weekends, some that may be with short notice;
- Time off must be pre-approved and is at the discretion of professional ORL staff.
