Professor Steven Rosenthal will be offering a course, History of Food, in fall 2026. This class explores the role of food from prehistory to modern times, examining the origins and cultural impact of specific foods such as beer, pizza, chocolate, and ice cream.
And...since learning about food wouldn’t be complete without experiencing it, be prepared to sample some treats along the way!
The course will meet Mondays from 5 to 7:20 p.m.
