Harrison Libraries is excited to announce a new partnership with Nisreen Cain and the AI Collective: Hartford Chapter to bring targeted AI workforce development and literacy initiatives to our campus. The AI Collective is dedicated to centering the human layer of technological advancement, focusing on ethical innovation, practical reskilling, and ensuring people remain at the heart of the AI-empowered society.
This collaboration will expand the resources available to our community through specialized workshops, lectures, and technology demonstrations. To kick off the partnership, we will host a hands-on summer workshop in July focusing on utilizing Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) for academic and professional workflows. This initial offering will be open to the entire UHart community as well as the general public.
Stay tuned for specific registration details and our full upcoming Fall event schedule! For questions or to learn how your department can get involved, contact Head of Research, Instruction, & Circulation at Mortensen Library Taylor St. Pierre at tstpierre@hartford.edu.
