If you have a technology project that you think would benefit the University you will need to first submit an initial proposal to ITEC's Technology Advisors. At the conclusion of their review you will be contacted with the outcome of your request. If approved, a more comprehensive proposal will be issued to you and required to be filled out for a final review by all members of ITEC. This occurs on a monthly basis. Depending on when a proposal is submitted it may take up to two months before it is looked at. Please keep this in mind when planning technology needs.
All new technologies must have funding sources identified and be reviewed by ITS. Even if you have already determined a technological solution and its funding has been approved by your department, there are University budgets and technical issues to consider before a product is purchased.
