Pre-Medical Advising

The Pre-Medical Professions Advising Program (PMAP) supports students preparing for medical and other health-professional schools. Choose the major that fits your interests while working with advisors to plan prerequisite coursework, explore health professions, gain clinical and other relevant experience, and prepare for the application process.

Pre-Law Advising

The Pre-Law Program supports students interested in pursuing law school while they complete the major and curriculum of their choice. Explore areas of law, develop relevant skills and experiences, connect with legal professionals and law students, and receive guidance as you prepare for the LSAT and law school application process.

Pre-Pharmacy Advising

The Pre-Pharmacy Advising Program supports students interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy, with accelerated pathways that combine undergraduate study with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree through university partnerships.

In partnership with the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy, UHart offers six-year pathways for Biology and Chemistry students to earn a bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

In partnership with the Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy, UHart offers a seven-year pathway for Health Sciences students to earn a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

Gabriella Silva is attending Fordham University School of Law focusing on public interest law. She says her UHart professors have contributed enormously to her academic growth and ultimately helped her in deciding to attend law school at Fordham.When looking back on her faculty mentors, Silva points to Associate Professor of Economics Jane Horvath, who oversees UHart’s pre-law advising program, as being instrumental in helping her attend law school.
