The Hillyer College of Arts and Sciences (HCA&S) offers 20 undergraduate majors, 27 minors, five graduate programs, and a wide range of interdisciplinary opportunities, providing students with a strong foundation across the liberal arts and sciences.
HCA&S also supports student success through comprehensive academic advising for all students, an Honors Program, and specialized pre-professional advising for those preparing for careers in law, medicine, and pharmacy.
Rhiannon is planning on pursuing a degree in medicine with a focus on family medicine and community health. She was part of the University’s Pre-Medical Professions Advising Program and is now pursuing her goal of working in rural healthcare. She is working in a rural hospital in New York’s Adirondack Mountains while preparing for the MCAT and applying to medical school.
The journey toward medical school is difficult to navigate and the Pre-Medical Professions Advising Program has made it easier for me to visualize the goals I want to achieve and my progress to get there.
