Enjoy a one-day Orientation experience filled with fun and laughter! First-year students will have the opportunity to meet new friends and explore the UHart campus through campus tours and activities with the Red Caps.

Be Prepared for Your First Semester at UHart

ZeeMee

We know that meeting other students and making new friends is a huge part of your college experience. That's why we have partnered with the social application ZeeMee. Similar to Instagram, you will be able to watch videos and posts from other students, introduce yourself, and create smaller communities to get all your questions answered.

Red Caps

Red Cap excited to play icebreaker with new students

Red Caps are student orientation leaders who are eager to help new students and their parents learn about student life and our community at the University of Hartford. The Red Caps are friendly, helpful, inclusive, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. They promote the University and the opportunities it has to offer. Through individual conversations, group activities, academic advising, and various programs, Red Caps help incoming students and their parents become familiar and comfortable with the University.
