There are varying levels of naming opportunities for physical spaces on campus for those who wish to name a space or name it on behalf of someone they wish to honor or memorialize.
Below is a sampling of various spaces available for naming. For further information on naming a space or establishing an endowment please contact XXX.
Residential Spaces
There are several spaces on our residential side of campus for individuals to name, including the University Commons (UC), the Private Dining Room inside UC, the pedestrian bridge, and the fire pit located adjacent to UC. There are also several naming options within Hawk Hall—our most popular residential building on campus.
Genras Student Union
From large spaces like the GSU Cafe and Center for Student Success to office spaces within the Student Government Association and the Career Closet, there are several high-impact naming opportunities.
Hursey Center
Our newest academic building in the center of the quad, the Francis X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions, has several lab spaces available for naming.
Athletics Spaces
With an added emphasis on wellness and recreation for all students at UHart, there are several proposed spaces available for naming that are dedicated for our students to gather, compete, and exercise. Individuals can support a new outdoor athletic complex, tennis facility, and basketball courts. There are also several existing spaces available.
Harry Jack Gray Center + Library Spaces
As students cross the bridge and enter the academic side of campus, they pass through UHart's Harry Jack Gray (HJG) gateway entry, which is available to name, as well as the courtyard. There are also several unnamed study spaces within the Harrison Libraries.
