Design the Official SGA Flag

The Official SGA Flag

Theme:
Bold. Welcoming. A symbol of unity and community.

The Student Government Association (SGA) represents the heart of our campus, bringing students together, amplifying their voices, and creating spaces where everyone belongs. Now, we’re inviting YOU to design the Official SGA Flag that will serve as a powerful emblem to represent our organization at events, rallies, and gatherings for years to come.

This flag should be more than just fabric, it should be a symbol students can rally behind, one that immediately says SGA is here, for the students, by the students.

Your Mission

Design an Official SGA Flag that:
  • Feels bold, welcoming, and instantly recognizable
  • Represents unity, community, and student empowerment
  • Incorporates SGA’s official colors: Green, Red, Black, and White
  • Features either the SGA logo or our official motto: “For the Students, By the Students” (or both)
  • Is visually striking both up close and from a distance
  • Works across different sizes and materials (from large banners to smaller prints)
Design Guidelines:
  • Dimensions: Standard flag proportion (3:5 or 2:3 ratio)
  • Orientation: Horizontal design preferred
  • Required Elements: SGA logo and/or motto (For the Students, By the Students)
  • Colors: Must use Green, Red, Black, and White in any combination
  • Format: Digital designs (vector) preferred; high-quality scanned hand-drawn designs accepted
  • No AI-generated artwork
Deadline: Tuesday, Sept. 23

This should be more than a flag, it should be a banner under which every student can stand. So, create something that unites us all.
  • Name of the piece (if applicable)
  • Name of the artist and pronouns
  • Artist statement
