SGA Launches Two "Design the Legacy" Art Competitions

Graphic for SGA Design the Legacy Contest
Every canvas is a conversation, and SGA is ready to talk. In an age where AI is generating images at lightning speed, we believe nothing compares to the soul, intention, and raw brilliance of human creativity. That’s why SGA is launching a bold new art design competition called “Design the Legacy,” a platform for student artists to showcase their vision, collaborate with SGA, and leave their mark on our campus.

We’re calling on the innovators and the dreamers to design original works that capture SGA’s energy, mission, and spirit. Whether it’s one design or a series, we want your imagination fully on display.

The top five artists will receive a $50 gift card.

The Grand Prize Winner will take home:
  • A $50 gift card
  • Campus-Wide Spotlight across SGA’s social media, email newsletters, and official channels
  • Gallery Feature one of three key locations: the 1st Floor Student Center, the Inclusion Lounge, or the SGA Office.
  • Event Recognition at an SGA Senate meeting, celebrated in front of student leaders and peers
  • Press Release to the University’s Marketing Team and the Student Television Network for maximum exposure
  • Limited Edition Merch featuring their winning design, shared at SGA events
  • Full credit on all uses of the design
  • A PR spotlight featuring “Get to Know the Artist,” behind-the-scenes features, and more
  • Their work showcased to students, administrators, alumni, and SGA supporters everywhere
  • Bragging rights worthy of a standing ovation
